Use the site for learning
Syntax provides coding lessons, practice questions, progress tracking, and an optional AI tutor. Use it lawfully and do not interfere with the service, other learners, or its security.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity carried out through your account. Tell the site owner if you think someone else has accessed it.
02 / YOUR ACCOUNT
Account information
Creating an account requires a display name and email address. Email registration requires verification. Discord sign-in uses the identity and email permissions shown on Discord’s consent screen.
Signed-in learning progress is saved to your account so it can follow you between devices. Without an account, progress stays in this browser and can be lost if its local storage is cleared.
03 / LESSONS & CODE
Learn at your own pace
Lessons and code examples are educational material. The guided checks help you practise reading code; they do not run arbitrary code or guarantee that an answer is correct for every compiler, runtime, or version.
Review and test code before using it in a real project. You can retry questions and checkpoint exams. A wrong answer does not remove completed progress.
04 / AI TUTOR
What Nova receives
If you send a message to Nova, Syntax sends your message, recent conversation, selected language, and the current lesson context to whichever configured AI provider answers the request. Provider availability and model selection can change.
Do not send passwords, API keys, private source code, or other sensitive information. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong; check important advice and code yourself.
05 / INFORMATION & ACTIVITY LOGS
What the site records
Syntax stores account details and learning progress. For security and basic usage reporting, it records events such as registration, sign-in, sign-out, lesson progress, and successful AI replies.
Activity records may include the account associated with an event, its time, the event type, and the coarse country or region Cloudflare provides. Syntax does not put your raw IP address or AI message text in these activity records. Records are kept for up to 180 days.
The admin activity page is restricted by a server-side email allowlist. Only an authorized administrator can view account-linked activity. Revenue is not reported unless a real payment provider is connected.

Service changes
Syntax may change lessons, features, providers, or availability as the product develops. No paid plan or payment processing is currently presented by this site.
